PC25 LNER 12 Ton 5 Plank Open Wagon
In 1938 tbe LNER altered its design of vacuum fitted open wagon to conform more closely to the standard adopted by the other companies. This type continued as standard until 1945 when it was replaced by the steel bodied version ( our PC01 model). Many continued in use in traffic until the late 1970s, with several survivors afterwards in the engineering departments fleet.

PC26 LNER 12 Ton Van (Corrugated Ends)
This design was introduced in 1934, but our model features the slightly narrower (by 2 inches) body standardised later, of which over 7000 were built by the LNER. These vans were used for all types of general traffic and lasted in traffic untilthe late 1960's.

PC35 LNER Conflat 8' Container Wagon with DX Open Container
This design originated in the 1930s as the LNER's standard container wagon. Many examples survived until around 1970 carrying all types of containers. This kit comes complete with a 'DX' type Open Container (also available as a seperate item, our ref.PA14). This type of container was used for traffic such an building materials, packing cases and farm produce. When their active life was over, open containers often ended their days as rubbish skips in goods depots.
PC50 LNER Standard Cattle Truck
The LNER had only one design of cattle truck, which came in vacuum fitted and non fitted versions. Our kit is of the latter style and features inside detail including the moveable internal partition used when part loads of cattle were carried. These vehicles were widely used and lasted in service until the 1950s. (An ex 'Westykit' model)
