This is an imaginary colliery somewhere in Yorkshire 1944-46. Based loosely on St. Johns Colliery Normanton and the Prince of Wales colliery Pontefract [closed 31-8-2002].   I was a Bevin Boy at those two colliery's in 1944-46.
