Chilton Wagon Works

Does anyone have any of these with the instructions for the side tipper wooden wagon? I have one but don't know if any parts are missing, which etching goes with it or how to put it together. The castings are wonderful however.

Is it this one (about half way down posted by the maker) or is your's defintely by Chilton? Only a thought, as I have never seen a list of wagons that Chilton Iron Works produced.

As has been said before, the withdrawal of Chilton's range was a loss to the hobby.

My mistake. Yes Chilton Iron Works.
I can't see anything on your post or a link.

Though now not relevant it would have helped if I'd added the link :?

I've managed to get kits C1, C2, C2/3 C4 and C6 plus whatever the tipper is. No Roberts dump wagon though, or a Kitson 0-6-2T. I've just checked the link and yes it looks like a wooden 'Manchester Ship Canal' style side tipper

If anyone saw my attempt at assembling the C2 Chaldron wagon at Nottingham yesterday I got it totally wrong. Once home I realised how to line the TOPS of the wagon together and hey presto the sides fitted together and it sat on the chassis beams.

Whilst I was looking for something else I found my Low Melt solder. Be prepared for some whitemetal kit construction to commence soon. The chaldrons have been sat around un-made for too long now.
