I have been looking for a flat bottom rail point kit suitable for a light railway, with little success. Can anyone point me in the direction of a kit?

Easily made using copper clad sleepering with code 55 or 70 FB rail soldered to it. If you are pedantic you can representations of the spikes by drilling holes in the sleepers post-construction and adding "spikes" cut down from staples. If you want to use plywood sleepers it is possible by drilling correctly gauged holes and inserting flat-head miniature brass tacks (so that the head barely rises above the sleeper top), by pre-tinning both the head of the tack and the underside of the rail it is then possible to solder the rails to the "sleeper" - but using copper clad is much easier!

P87 stores also does baseplates and spikes, useful if your light railway is posh enough to use baseplates.

I'm hoping to avoid filing crossings and point blades. The rail will have to be spiked directly down to the sleepers.

P87 stores does those as well, but its not really all that hard, well worth a bit of perseverance to learn how.

I would say it is a very easy job and can be done in about 45 minutes if only one turnout is needed. If what you nned is not available from the trade then the only way is to make it yourself.
Look for the post from Brian Harrap on his easy and quick method of producing crossing vees and the ones from Tony Wilkins in his Brimsdown thread about building a FB rail turnout from scratch. I expect someone will be along to post the links soon.
