Interesting piece on last night's episode of 'Click' on the BBC, about the Smart Mouthguards being used in the Rugby Union Six Nations tournament. A tiny chip in the gumshield has accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor and a battery that must be lasting for at least the 40+ minutes of a half. Each transmits to a monitor during the game. I can see applications...
