Bedale by Matthew Wildsmith

A diorama of the Wensleydale Railway running today. Called Bedale in Wensley as I have taken elements of the railway to fit together. The main track plan is Bedale, but the station building is identical to Spennithorne. Stock is rewheeled Bachmann – there is a 108 dmu and a class 20. Track on the real thing is so overgrown, that the track appears deep ballasted, so to save money, copper clad sleepers have been used. The layout is operated from the front.
