    Blackcombe Tor by Richard Pedder
Set around a small china clay works situated alongside the Great Western mainline in southwest Devon. The operating period can be alternated between the mid 00s and the mid 80s.

    Kirkcliffe by Michael Prince

Set in the period 1962-85 Kirkcliffe Coking Plant is based on Smithywood near Chapeltown, Sheffield which which was built by Newton Chambers in the 20s but closed in the 80s.
Kitehouses by David Hawkins & Tony Sullivan

Based on the terminus of the N. Sunderland Light Railway, Kitehouses represents a light railway which faded away in the early 60s.

    Longcarse West by David Furmage

Based on a few run-down sidings in the Alloa area of central Scotland in the period 1975/6. This was once a busy area and although traffic remains bouyant, the threat of closure is looming.

    Lydmouth by David Griffin

Lydmouth is set in the present day and inspired by Lydney on the Gloucester to S. Wales line, but placed further south. It is designed to allow automatic operation should this be required.

Moor Street by the West Midlands Area Group

The layout represents the terminus side of Birmingham Moor St. and can be operated in both the period between steam and diesel or the BR corporate era of the late 70s early 80s.
    Portchullin by Mark Tatlow

An imaginary station on the former Highland Railway, but very much based on the real examples on the line. All that has been done is to move another station, Stromeferry, far enough away to justify a separate station at Portchullin.

    Ravenscroft by Simon Bendall

Ravenscroft is a fictitious setting in the heart of Teesside. Taking its inspiration from the heavy industries found in the area it features a steel distribution terminal with overhead gantry crane.
    Rayners Lane by Joel Middleton

Rayners Lane is used by both the Piccadilly and Metropoltan lines meaning that both deep tube and surface stock can be run, but also means that all the stock needs to bescratchbuilt.
Southwater Junction by the West Grinstead Carriage Group

Set in the last quarter of the 20th Century the model assumes that the line which in reality closed in 1966 stayed open and was modernised.
    Waterloo Street by James Dickie

Waterloo Street represents the entrance to Waterloo Goods Yard on the former GNoS branch line to Aberdeen harbour in the late 1970s.

    West End by Chris Mitchell

West End is set in the mid 1970s in northwest England and represents part of a small terminus which has survived owing to the existence of freight services 'off stage'.
    Wheal Elizabeth by Andrew Ullyott

This layout was inspired by the china clay dries at Wenfordbridge and Carbis Wharf, the last coal-fired dry which closed in 1986. Extra variety of stock is allowed by a public wharf siding.
